Reyes Wedding: Nidia & Andy

The day started at the hotel capturing Nidia getting ready along with her bridesmaids.  A lot of excitement was in the air during this special day this all showed when I was observing everyone getting ready for the wedding day. Through out the whole day Nidia had a joyful glow and looked radiant throughout the whole day.

Elite Mixers Entertainment

A few weeks ago I helped my buddy Ken with the planning and setting up a shoot for Elite Mixers Entertainment. Ken is also part of the Elite Mixers.  Elite Mixers Entertainment is a full service DJ entertainment company based in the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan area.  Check out their site at http://www.elitemixersent.com

In this blog post I wanted to post their DJ profile along with the photos I took.

DJ Mixxed:

DJ Mixxed (Shawn Diggs) is a DJ who specializes in several genres of music. Born on December 19th 1975, DJ Mixxed grew up with an appreciation for all types of music. As a military brat, he had the opportunity to surround himself with a diverse group of friends, in turn exposing him to all types of music. He took this lifelong love and appreciation of music and eventually applied it to DJ'ing.

Since 2006, DJ Mixxed has been spinning the best in Hip Hop, R&B, Funk, Top 40, Reggae and House music at various venues. From the top clubs and lounges in Washington DC such as Ozio, Shadow Room and Mezza Luna... to holding a 3 year residency, DJ Mixxed has built a reputation for entertaining and adapting to diverse crowds of all kinds. He has even been featured in the Middle East as one of Qatar's top Hip Hop DJ's, while spinning for R&B groups such as Black Buddafly.

Along with his brother and close friend, DJ Mixxed started Elite Mixers Entertainment. The same pride and knowledge of music exhibited by DJ Mixxed is applied throughout Elite Mixers Entertainment.

AMA Pro Road Racing at VIR

Creating Shadows with Ellie Mae

In this photo shoot I thought I'll do to do something a little more abstract with my photography and want to do a portrait series called "Shadows". "Shadows" was inspired shadow puppets. Yes, the same shadow puppets we made as kids using a flash light and our hands. Before we get to the photos here is a little back ground on Ellie Mae.

Ellie Mae's Bio:

Ellie Mae was once a huge nerd, well she still is, but her glory days as the president of the Model United Nations and the captain of the chess team have graduated her to an up-and-coming model. She generally thinks of herself as "a pretty plain girl, who makes an exceptional model", and that the entire thing is a huge cosmic accident, perhaps one of the best. She was born into the world of the arts, and has always has a wide variety of interests. She paints and draws, makes jewlery, writes poetry and songs, plays five instruments, designs and sews clothing, and has danced classically most of her life. Currently she is studying theatre with a performance concentration, with a minor in theoretical physics. One day she hopes to be signed to a well known modeling agency, perform Eponine in the Broadway production of Les Miserables, write a personal memoir, play the saxophone in an indie rock band, and find the Higgs Boson, to name a few of her aspirations.
