 It's been a while since I've posted to the blog.  I'm thinking of dedicating maybe the last Sundays of each month to focus on capturing headshots.  Maybe have a small group of people so we can network.  It would be a way to meet new connections. We can call the event "Headshot Sundays"?

Adriana's Quince

I had the honor of photographing Adriana's quince at the Great Falls Grange in Great Falls, VA. For all of us that don't know what Quince or Quinceañera is... Quinceañera, (feminine form of "fifteen-year-old"), also called fiesta de quince años, fiesta de quinceañera, quince años or simply quince, is the celebration of a girl's fifteenth birthday in parts of Latin America and elsewhere in communities of people from Latin America. This birthday is celebrated differently from any other as it marks the transition from childhood to young womanhood.

Booth: S+A Wedding

Sometimes it's impractical have a seamless paper backdrop outdoors. The slightest wind would blow the backdrop everywhere. But that shouldn't discourage you from not having a booth at an outdoor event. The recipe for unique photos are lights, props and awesome people.
