CatWalk Studioz's Open House

In search for a new studio to shoot in I went to the open house at CatWalk Studioz. The open house was a lot of fun and there was so much going on. It was like being at one huge party. They had everything from music with a DJ, food, body painters, make up artist, stylist, models and don't forget photographer capturing it all. Besides it was a great opportunity to network with other creatives.

For the most part I don't shoot at open houses, I go for the food and drinks. LOL...

So one of my fellow photographers said you brought your gear, you might as well use it. With that said I only captured a few images and here they are.

Erika's Bridal Portrait

I had the honor of taking bridal portraits of Erika.  Erika is a fun loving person with a lot of energy and the photo session turned it into a mini fashion shoot.  It was a lot of fun even had her friends were cheering her on.  Here are the photos taken that day and I've included a small photo montage.

Breakin for Birney

Saturday we decided to cover an annual fundraiser called Breakin for Birney that is held at American University. It's a breakdancing event where spectators are encouraged to participate. The donation was $5.00 which we were glad to pay since it's going to a good cause. All proceeds go to Facilitating Leadership in Youth (FLY, www.flyouth.org).

Fells Point Meet and Greet Part 2

Here is a continuation of my Model Mayhem Fells Point Meet and Greet post. I had the pleasure of taking photos of Selome Kobayashi of Thread Magazine. I documented her makeup being applied by Mary Fairchild. Selome just looks stunning. Enjoy the photos.
